St John's Under Fives began in 1987, when members of the Church realised there were many young families in the area who would like somewhere to meet.

From the very beginning the aim was to provide toddler groups, playgroup and other groups for adults and children.

Over the years we have grown into an organisation which provides a Community Nursery and a variety of other groups for children and adults.

We still aim is to provide a welcoming place for carer's, parents, grandparents, child-minders and children to come and meet each other.

Under Fives is a non-profit making organisation; all fees are set to meet running costs. We rely heavily on our own fund raising such as Coffee Mornings, Christmas Craft Fair, Photograph Day and Table Top Sales.
